Shacman Successfully Completes 13th Annual ISO 9001 & IATF 16949 Surveillance Audit
From June 4 to 7, 2024, Shacman underwent a comprehensive surveillance audit of its ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality management systems, conducted by senior experts from Shanghai Enke Certification Co., Ltd. This milestone marks 13 consecutive years of certification since Shacman first achieved compliance in 2011.
Preparation & Collaboration
Prior to the audit, Shacman's management team initiated rigorous internal reviews across all departments. The quality department led pre-audit evaluations of production processes and management controls, addressing non-conformities through systematic corrective actions.
Audit Process
The Enke audit team employed a process-based methodology, combining documentation reviews, on-site inspections in key facilities (including the paint shop and general assembly line), and interviews with staff at the Automotive Engineering Research Institute. Despite high summer temperatures, the auditors completed evaluations efficiently, leveraging their technical expertise to identify improvement opportunities.
Key Outcomes
At the closing meeting, Shacman's Quality Manager acknowledged Enke's constructive feedback and mandated all departments to:
- Prioritize resolution of identified non-conformities within stipulated timelines;
- Strengthen cross-functional accountability for quality governance;
- Institutionalize audit insights to elevate system maturity.
Gratitude & Future Vision
Shacman extends sincere appreciation to the Enke team for their professional dedication and actionable recommendations. The company reaffirms its commitment to advancing quality management through continued collaboration with certification partners, aiming to set new benchmarks in automotive manufacturing excellence.
